After an initial field survey conducted in the four target locations – two neighbourhoods (Soubalo and Aïnoumady) and two villages (Gaol and Ngeyenne Taiba) – the team in charge of spatial analysis began a reconnaissance mission of the habitats. The first mission enabled thermal images to be captured using a drone flying overhead, measuring the emissivity of roofs based on the construction material. The habitat recognition mission has several purposes: On the one hand, iden
